
Agrobiomass Observatory: Agrobioheat
Summary:The Agrobiomass Heating Observatory is intended as a simple-to-use map tool that will allow interested stakeholders all along Europe to quickly identify and collect basic (or in some cases detailed) information about success cases and potential stakeholders in the agrobiomass heating sector. Enables user to search for heating cases, equipment manufacturers, ESCOs & installers, fuel suppliers, proposed initiatives or other use cases.
Main objective:Help the user to locate succesful examples of agrobiomass heating projects throughout the european countries. Includes different types of agrobiomass (olive stone, nuts, straw, etc.)
End user:Biomass management companies, ESCOs, Cooperatives / RESCoops, End users, NGOs, Research Centers / Universities

uP Running Observatory
Summary:Observatory for biomass from agricultural pruning and plantation uprooting that shows biomass productivity, mechanised harvesting and value chains experiences in most european countries.
Main objective:The observatory provides visual information so the user can locate agricultural pruning and plantation uprooting succesful initiatives and relevant data such as biomass productivity or logistic chains.
End user:Biomass management companies, ESCOs, Cooperatives / RESCoops, End users, Research Centers / Universities

Biomass yards
Summary:Geographical information system showing where the different biomass yards of the Netherlands surface are located. The user can click in each entry to obtain more useful information about that specific location.
Main objective:Biomass yards are establishments where a diversity of biomass flows, including organic residuals, are collected and processed in a business and environment-friendly way. Products from a biomass yard include biobased raw materials, fuels and compost products. Biomass yards are characterized by their economy of scale and applied quality assurance systems (including certification). They are regulated by license conditions that prevent nuisance to the environment (eg smell). The tool is up-dated every 3 months.
